Last night was a milestone I’ll never forget—not only was it my first arena show, but I had the absolute honor of photographing one of the biggest bands that shaped my teenage years and completely redefined my music taste. Standing in the pit, camera in hand, capturing a band that was constantly the only CD in my hot pink Bratz Walkman and soundtracked so many memories felt utterly surreal. I cannot express how grateful I am to have had this experience and a night that I will carry with me forever.

Bullet For My Valentine set the tone before even stepping on the O2 Arena stage, opening with a powerful video montage showcasing their journey throughout the years—news articles, magazine reviews, photographs, and old footage flashing across the screens, a reminder of just how far they’ve come. It was a moment that sent a ripple of anticipation through the arena, setting the stage for what was to come.

And they delivered - Bullet stormed the O2 Arena with thrash-fuelled momentum, proving why they’ve remained giants in the metal scene for two decades. The sheer energy had me in awe—hitting like a punch to the chest, every chorus echoed back by thousands of voices.

While their sound has evolved, it still captures that youthful fire and aggression that first pulled me in all those years ago. Bullet’s laser-driven performance was studded with moments on a whole different scale—searing solos, emotional singalongs, and the kind of stage presence that made the arena feel intimate yet colossal all at once.
